Starting a business in The Licensed Trade comes in varied opportunities such as a franchise, a tenancy or a long term lease which we classify as Rent a Pub; you may of course choose the opportunity to buy a Pub , 'lock stock and barrel' or Run a Pub for a Pub company. Whatever your choice it may be running an old English Pub, a Pub in the Scottish Highlands, the Welsh Valleys or of course Northern Ireland.
In addition to brewing beer and ale many breweries own their own pubs and in many cases they own hundreds or even thousands of pubs and are always looking for good people to run them. In addition there are the Pub Companies known in the trade as 'PubCos', with two or three Pubs and some who own the larger Pub Estates, the largest of which consists of over 8,000 public houses.
